The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi issued a comprehensive statement affirming full political, security, and logistical solidarity with the State of Kuwait following recent security infractions targeting private and government facilities on Boubyan Island. The GCC Secretariat condemned the hostile disruptions as direct violations of international law and national sovereignty, emphasizing that the security of individual member states remains fundamentally indivisible under regional collective defense agreements. In response, Gulf nations have resolved to step up intelligence-sharing operations, enhance coordinated air-defense networks, and fortify maritime security perimeters around strategic coastal borders. Regional defense ministers reasserted that member countries stand firmly committed to supporting all necessary sovereign measures taken by Kuwait to protect its territorial integrity, critical energy assets, and civil infrastructure, while urging international bodies to strictly enforce regional maritime safety protocols.
